Music Ministry Conservatory (MMC), promotes a high level of musical professionalism by providing opportunities for performances and education. We are a community professional choir with a desire to create a love of choral music for the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Our organization helps to harmonize multicultural societies, foster community musicians through music and renders charity support. To be a part of this organization means to make a 100% commitment to perfecting choral skills, partnering to be a team, and exhibiting positive community social participation.
AUDITION TO JOIN:
MMC Ensemble, a critically acclaimed professional choir, is accepting auditions for the 2023-2024 Performance Season. Applicants who are selected by audition will perform and participate in the professional chamber ensemble along with professional leading soloists and orchestra. Participating musicians receive a performance fee for each concert set by the financial designee. Singers who do not pass the audition will be admitted to our MMC Choir with the opportunity to perform with the ensemble after receiving professional training and lessons with our instructors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1 Formal Music Education is required, and a Music Degree is preferred
2. Thorough understanding of music theory, rhythm and intonation
3. Comprehensive understanding of your vocal musicality and technique
3. Advanced Sight-reading skills
4. Prior experience singing in a professional choir/ensemble

During your audition time, you will review and sign the MMC Commitment Form. The compensation details will be discussed at a later date based on your qualifications and the audition results.
